So what makes a great Margarita?  There are several factors to consider when deciding on which margarita recipe to use.  You will need to think about which types of tequila, which types of liqueurs, what ratios to mix them in and whether or not to use a margarita mix or fresh ingredients.

• 2:1:1 = (50% tequila, 25% Triple Sec, 25% fresh lime or lemon juice)

Enjoy a refreshing tropical drink recipe and relax with a pina colada.

• 3 ounces light rum
• 3 table spoons coconut cream
• 1/2 cup fresh cut up pineapple
• 2 cups ice

To make this pina colada recipe, place all ingredients in in a margarita machine or frozen drink machine and blend at high speed until smooth – pour and serve with a pineapple garnish.  You can try using your favorite pina colada mix instead.

Summer is never over when you have a nice mixed  tropical drink like the beachcomber.  Mix one up and kick back on your favorite beach chair.

• 1 1/2 ounce light rum
• 1/2 ounce triple sec
• 1/2 ounce lime juice
• splash of maraschino liqueur

To make your tropical drink recipe, mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake, strain, pour and serve in a highball glass filled with ice.
